help me break into my Prelude.

If you're going to break a window, break the windscreen, with a stone. ;)
You have to pay the excess for glass replacement, whichever window you break, so it might as well be the windscreen. You get a nice new windscreen to look through, much more useful than a side window.

Haha, excellent Idea.

Is there any update on this? Still locked out of your car?

Have you ever tried to completely smash a laminate windscreen to the point you could crawl inside a car? That's not the kind of damage a small stone would cause...

Forgot about the lamination. Last time I broke a front windscreen I used a falling tree. Wouldn't recommend this method though as it does mess up the rest of the car a bit.

UPDATE:

Well it took me 2 mins to break into my corrado but the locking mechanism inside the door doesnt make sense as its not a normal pop up lock.

Anyway, im giong to upgrade the g/fs AA account to cover me as well and then call them out to work :)

Is it a Corrado or a prelude, or have I missed something. :o

Then you cant really drive it tho. Getting a window replaced is much cheaper if you can take the car to them rather then them having to be called out to the car. Driving with a rear side window broken isnt so bad.

do a search in motors and you will see that i had a similar problem with my corrado a few months ago.

Except, i started the engine and noticed smoke coming out from under the bonnet. ran round to have a look, a fuel pipe has split leaking fuel on the manifold. I had shut the door and the anti-hijack system kicked in and locked it down with the engine running. :D

Got the engine shut off but only took 2 mins to break in with a metal coathanger! :)

Actually this only works on cars that have pneumatic central locking.

Plus I bet if he had a tennis ball - it would be in the boot with his spare keys!! :D
