Hi guys.

I'm buying a new build flat and I have the option to add some bits in whilst its getting first fixed.

I've got data points in each room but I need to some help to achieve the following:

HTPC in lounge (already built)
Connected to Denon AVR 4308 (specs here)

Now, This has upto 4 zone control. My aim is to have audio in the bathroom, en suite, second bedroom and master bedroom. In addition, I would like video in the master room, 2nd room and obviously lounge.

I was thinking, squeeze box 3 in the bathrooms and bedrooms for audio but would like the master bedroom to be able to access the dvds etc stored on the HTPC (in the lounge).

Or, do I knock up a server, stick it in the loft and pipe that around the house?

Or, do I just go an buy a Living Control system here

Pointers would be great. Thanks

It depends, what's your budget? For me i would go cheap.... ;) just Cat5e up the place real good....

The bedrooms, i'd buy a cheap laptop body, hide it someplace, and connect it to a decent set of powered speakers. That way you'll just need to stream up the files from a central source/server/online stream..... and you get a second benefit of being internet access as well.....

Living control systems look real expensive... too much owww for me...

hi mate, budget would be a max of £3k if I needed to get a media server and includes all the cabling, points, etc.

Anyone else got any ideas or cool product suggestions?
