Help me choose a colour scheme for my next car . .

Hi All

I am in the very fortunate position of being able to choose the colour of my next car - Mercedes E-Class cabriolet.

Am looking for opinions as am very unsure. I want it to stand out, but I am a young professional, so it cant be anything too garish.

So far, I have come up with a few options

1 ) Metallic diamond white with red roof

If you want a red roof then I'd agree, the black looks terrible so would have to be white.

If you get the right Grey body with a red roof it can look decent too. Tenorite / Red might work

The white with red roof seems to be really popular with the 'wifes' that attend the beauty place up the street from where I work.

Out of the choices you've posted I would have to agree with the wifes though. White with red roof.

Also is it just me or is this a car where the facelift really hasn't been kind? The prefacelift version is so much more handsome.

The only other colour that I would consider is palladium silver, but it is a bit boring . . .

Its also the traditional Merc colour whereas white is a bit bling.

White is too much, and far too common on the E-Class. I'd go for Cavansite Blue with black roof.

I agree, driving a Metallic diamond transit white bmw around made me notice all the other white rep mobiles

Never seen a car or colour combination where a red roof looks good.

I have to say none of them really stand out, but I'd go for the all black combination. Suits the car best imo

1 looks the best combination wise but honestly every time I see these, they look like a ladies car with that colour option and lo and behold, always being driven by one too.

Agreed, it does have a rather odd looking 'face'.

Yep, Mercs new design philosophy seems to be take handsome looking cars and melt them and give them a hideous face.

The new C class isnt all that pretty either. Just when BMW have started to churn out nice looking motors, Merc have gone in the other direction
