help me choose from 3 things.

Question is why do you need any of them?

Is there something special about the mobo that your current one doesn't have?

You already have a 5850. Are you having any problems running any games with it?

Another monitor is handy and it's big which is nice, but it's purely a gaming monitor, contrast ratios and viewing angles aren't that good.

Do you really need any of them or just feel like buying something?

well i have £285 to spend, my life is all about computers really, i can't do anything else really because im disabled so any money i get goes to the computer.

the motherboard as sata3 and usb 3 so be future proof alittle, also i've been getting issues with my motherboard..

afew games such as dirt 2

also my monitor keeps going off

both really.

There are hardly any sata3 drives nor devices that use usb3 at the moment, future proof yes, but I'd save the money for now till they are actually usuable.

Dirt2 in Dx11 mode cripples most systems for some reason even though it offers almost no better visuals than running in DX10 mode. No other DX11 games are available at the moment, I'd wait till mid February till Fermi launches and either get one (if it's good/cheap) or get another 5850 at reduced price.

As for the monitor, it seems the most logical upgrade for you. You might as well go for it.
The monitor isn't bad especially for that price.

i forgot to say about my motherboard, sometimes at post it goes wierd like the whole picture scrolls right to left and sometimes freeze with a green box. i know thats not the monitor because i tryed a different monitor (lcd tv)

woud be better off selling the current g card and buying a higher spec one that getting cross fire.

But I'm going with monitor as it will have the most impact on your experience.

Don't think there's a proper higher spec card.

5870? about 10-15% faster than a 5850.

5970? Costs more than 2 x 5850s.

If you decide to get a new monitor then I would suggest something like this, it is the same size as you have now but would be a better allrounder. Is is also a little cheaper too!
