Hi all
I am looking to get mobo to go with
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
So far contenders i am thinking of are
Abit IX38 QuadGT Intel X38
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-138-AB
Asus P5K Pro Intel P35
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-266-AS
DFI Lan Party DK X38-T2R Intel X38
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-043-DF
If anybody wants to suggest different board feel free
I do not want to go into DDR3 or DDR2 & DDR3 combo boards.
One thing that puts me off DFI board is that stated memory
support 667/800 MHz dual channel. Both asus and abit support up to Dual DDR2 1066/800, or am i thinking wrong way about it?
I am planning to use one of PC2-8500C5 modules, but not sure which one yet
if DFI board does not suport that speed it would be waste, or i am just not thinkling right about it
Thanks in advance guys
