Help me convince my parents

wow. i feel old now. when i was 12 pretty much all i had to play with was paper airplanes that you had to assemble yourself, yoyos and my man bits. kids these days are lucky growing up with all this tech available to them.
 
If you want to convince your parents then just tell them that XBox 360 is the best way to get relief from tensions and many innovative, interactive and educational games are there which keeps our brains active ever in your age. It is a kind of gaming for any age people. I am sure, parents like the things that increases the level of knowledge and activeness. Also, tell them that these interactive games will help me to increase my general knowledge as well as keep my brains active. I am sure they will understand... Best of Luck !!
 
LOL they wouldn't even think about getting me a new console I just need the controller to fly the plane in jst casue 2 and maybe some assassins creed 2
 
on a slightly more serious note, i think your parents should be trying to encourage you to manage your money. that means allowing you to spend it (wisely), and earn. message being, if you earn money you should be allowed to spend it how you see fit, and learn from poor purchases. stopping you from spending your money isn't going to teach you how to manage money wisely. this is why a lot of people end up getting into bad debt when they're older or end up spending their entire student loan on kebabs and other questionable substances.
 
Be glad its ur parents trying to make you understand your money so that when you reach my age (28)you dont have to give it to your GF just so you dont waste it (well thats her reason for taking my wages off me anyway)

Now that i earn a decent ammount off money and i want to treat myself to something im not aloud because "what do we need that for"
