Hello,

Haven’t posted for a while but am after some help choosing a point & shoot camera, will only be used for holiday snaps, won’t be used for taking videos either. I’ve narrowed it down to these choices if anyone can narrow it to a final 2 or if there’s a clear winner that stands out would be much appreciated!

Nothing too complex to use either!

Ricoh GR 2, Fujifilm xf10, Panasonic tz100, Sony rx100 iv, Canon g7x mk2,

I’ve got the Canon G7X MkII and have used the Sony RX.

The Canon is better for photos (faster aperture lens with a longer zoom), and the Sony is better for video (great video auto focus)
The Canon also has a better rear screen - you touch use it for focus, menus and changing settings.

I'd not be disappointed with either the Canon or the Sony tbh! Having owned both they're both awesome handhelds. I've the Sony Mk 7 now, but that's a tier above the G7.
