help me decide on loop(s)

hi guys, I got a phanteks enthoo primo in november, still not got round to building it (I know, fail!)

I also now have quite a mountain of additional watercooling components clogging my living room up:

in my current build, a bitfenix shinobi (non-XL):

240x60mm mayhems rad (quad pass) : front
240x30mm HWlabs GTS stealth: top
EK supreme LTX
XSPC 450 pump/res
2 akasa pirhanas on the GTS
2 akasa apaches on the mayhems

with all that for just a CPU loop, I still see upwards of 60 degrees on the CPU, which I think it because the heat from my 2 670GTXs is heating the case internals before exhausting through the top rad

I have also acquired since:

2 full cover blocks for my GPUs, with bridge and backplates
280x80mm monsta rad (I plan to put this in the bottom of the enthoo)
2x 10w DDC pumps with matching XSPC reservoirs
assorted fittings (lots) and tubing, I also have just over 1L of pastel fluid left over, as well as some blue UV fluid concentrate

so was thinking (but by no means 100% sure) the mayhems and monsta rads should be enough between them to cool 2 670s and a 2500k, but cannot decide whether to go dual loop, or a single loop with everything in it (not sure if a single 10w DDC will do it), and if single, whether to use both DDCs for redundancy.

I've been told to hurry up and take some holiday from work :D so need to get a move on with deciding what to do!

thanks for any input!

Single loop every time.

I'm not sure about the 10W DDC - I've always used the 18W version, though if you run them in parallel you will see increased performance over series.

thanks, I think I will probably go single loop, parallel pumps might be a good idea, although I'm leaning towards getting the soldering iron out and upgrading one to 18w ;) in which case I'll probably just keep the other as a spare/lend it to my friend

so would you definitely expect a single 18w to be able to cope with CPU + 2GPU + 2 rads?

To give you a very rough comparison, I have 1 x 240x80mm monsta, 1 x 240x30mm ut30, 2 x GTX680s and a 3930k in my current loop being powered by a d5 pump. The 18w ddc isn't significantly less powerful than the d5 and my d5 has loads of power to spare. You will be fine with the single pump I think.

I will post my temps later if you want but I can tell you everything stays plenty cool, you will be fine with the rad setup you have.

I am pretty sure I read on Martins Liquid Labs parallel pumps is a total NO NO.

Small to no benefits and huge restriction if a pump fails.

Recommended multi pump setup is series. For both performance AND redundancy.

Edit - missed mjones post above, but mirror his thoughts!
