Hey,
I'm having a lot of trouble finding a case that can tick all my boxes.. I'm not sure one even exists. I'm looking for a case with this criteria...
Mini ITX
6 or more 3.5" HDD Bays
1 or more 2.5" SSD Bay
1 exteral 5.25" Bay - not slim line
I currently have a full tower 6-8 HDD's that I use to archive on and I have a full 5.25" Panel that has 6 buttons for powering the hard drives on and off. I would like to transfer this to the smallest case possible and will buy the rest of the components around this (will buy all low powered, low profile stuff as this will only ever be used as a web browsing machine at most).
Maybe I don't need the the 5.25" bay, if i can find a way to power off each hard drive independently?
I love both the Silverstone DS380B and Fractal Design Node 304, but neither has the front bay I require to fit the 5.25" plate.
Is there anything I could go for without having to buy a tower?
Thanks for any suggestions!
