What is that music called that is always played with things to do with space.

Its a classical piece of music.... it starts really slow and builds up...

some percussion comes in after it gets slightly louder..

like a .. bom bom bom bom bom bom bom.. then they sop and the music gets louder again...

anyone know what this piece is called?

Absolutely certainly Richard Strauss's Also sprach Zarathustra. It gets the space connection from Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey.
