Hi Guys,

Im looking for a new game, Now im very picky when it comes to single player games if its mildy boring i stop playing.

Im Looking for a game that like Witcher 2/dragon age/WoW/rift. but that has a more Lord of the rings (creature wise) feel.

I don't want the game to have loads of boring dialogue, Witcher 2 has some but it switches fairly quickly into Action/Decisions to keep you amused.

What would you suggest. i was thinking skyrim but never played a elder scroll game.

PC Spec should be fine: i7 940 @2.9ghz - 570GTX SLI [2.5GB] - 12GB Ram

skyrim really no point going any further. Its fine stand alone. You can read 1 or 2 wiki pages to get the back story...if it matters :O

hmm yeh ok but lot of my friends say skyrim is very long dialogue. (which i dont like) would you agree?

Nope, not a lot of dialogue, you don't have to talk to anyone if you want although I imagine that might make the game quite hard.

yeh mates said it had a lot of dialogue he also said its bit pointless playing without listening.

Its all voice acted you dont have to read squat, i hate RPG where you have to read oodles of text hurts my eyes so much on a monitor.

Neverwinter Nights, an old one but its just like those you mentioned.

Guildwars is a good one because you can play it alone like a single player game.

Borderlands is great if you're into shooters, it don't have the lord of the rings feel but it's a great playthrough if you got 3 friends to join you

Surprised to see you mention Dragon Age because that has a massive amount of 'boring dialogue' in my experience. I remember I once literally spent an hour just talking to party members in the camp, exhausting a whole bunch of conversation arcs.

If you don't want to dive straight into Skyrim maybe consider Oblivion, it has already been in the Steam sales but if you are lucky it might show up again at the end.
