Hey guys so im in the market for a new monitor. Nothing wrong with my current one (22") im just looking to upgrade for something bigger and better now that ive had this awhile.

I was looking at 24" monitors and just wanted to know what everyone thought was the best monitor for gaming (FPS,RPG. etc)
I have had a look around myself at monitors but i haven't really found one that i can say that i really really like to buy it now.

Im looking for something that looks great both in style and when in use for around £200.
I saw this monitor and i lovedd how it looks but hear alott of bad reviews for it and it having faults like buzzing and dead pixels etc so i decided against it but i have noticed that ASUS do similar looking monitors to this one

Other than that the only monitor i found which i was interested in was this one and i couldn't really find any bad reviews for it

Hope you guys can help me out choosing a nice new monitor and share you own experiences on your purchases of these monitors or ones you currently have.

Thanks

thanks for the suggestion but i wanted a 24" monitor cause im currently on 22" and i want to go abit bigger than 1".

I know these threads are really repetitive on the forums guys but any suggestions would be nice :)

I went from a 22" to a 24" and being honest the extra was very unoticable. I have 2 computers side by side and the other comp uses a 22" monitor Swapping from comp to comp the difference in size was realy marginal.
I went to a 27" screen next and this realy does stand out. IPS panels have the best pics but are not so good for fast paced games (slower response time meaning ghosting is visible).
Your choice bud.

Well i did consider going 27" but i dont think its the best idea being sat close to it a lot and also the 27" in my price range are only 1920x1080 res and not proper 27" res.

I said my budget is around £200 but i dont mine paying more if a monitor is really good.
