Ok, here it goes - a few years back in Germany (2003-2004) when I was there on placement, I was watching this TV series which was broadcast in Spanish. It had a Friends-esque setting to it - 2 guys rooming with each other, on the same floor as 2 girls, who were also flat sharing. Together, they had many comedy moments (I think! My Spanish was awful back then)
The 1 guy is Spanish, the other guy is American. During and/or after the episode, the American would call home (in English) and tell his mother of what he had done that day (like "Hi mom, today I cooked...".) As for the girls (both Spanish), one is blonde (and eventually hooks up with the American guy) and the other is brunette/black haired, and she flirts a lot with the Spanish guy (they end up as well I think, but not sure on that).
The show is set in Barcelona I think, but it may be Madrid, and it was all Spanish, apart from American kid calling home.
Do you know which series this could be? Or at least, where I could find out?
