Help Me Find A Cheap Flight

Hi

Im trying to book a direct flight to Bangkok for the 23rd Nov - 3rd Dec.

I found a reasonable price on STA with Thai Airways for £433 inc taxes, but I have no idea what they are like. Has anyone ever flown with them?

Does anyone know where else I can look for cheap flights?

I've only flown internal with them, but they are pretty good.

Dialaflight are showing Royal Jordanian for £370 inc taxes. No idea if it's direct or not and it could be a 'dry' flight!

Give dialaflight a ring (0870 333 4488) and your quote (less a bit ;)) and they will beat it.

Departing when? 23rd or any date between 23rd -3?

What airport?

Try - Flights worlwide (0870 066 6304) or http://www.holidaygenie.com/

I want to be there on the 23rd, so Im guessing that most Thai flights will be overnighters. Therefore I think I will look for flights on the 22nd. Preferrably flying from heathrow.

I do believe they serve alcohol on the flight.

Also, you'll stop in Amman. My god CHEAPEST DUTY FREE EVER!!! We all kept well inside the 2 litre limit of course!!

i flew to thailand last year with Qatar Air, thought they were very good for the price, think it cost me about 370 back then, that was through travelbag

Thai airways are good , good service and plenty of legroom , no personal IFE though

If IFE matters to you have a look at EVA, they also fly LHR-BKK , I have just booked this route with them, they also have a premium economy called Elite class ( the one I booked )

IFE

In flight entertainment ( personal video screens )

EVA are Taiwanese and do BKK on the way to Taipei ( direct LHR-BKK )

I just phoned dial-a-flight and they have offered me a direct flight with EVA for £456 including taxes. Good deal? I think so. I will book it later today.

quality airlines...are rated *****(5 STAR) for their inflight service, which they are currently upgrading to give you FULL on-demand services.

Qatar aren't direct though I think

Just found this re Thai's safety record

"Its safety record rates an "A", the highest grade possible, according to Air Rankings Online. Rankings are cumulatives, based on the number of fatal accidents per million flights that the carrier has flown since 1970"
