Help me find out what game this is

I remember playing a FPS game, about 8 years ago perhaps, where you could shoot people using a gun that fired metal rods, and you could stick them to the wall with it. It was pretty futuristic and set out in a space station or something. I seem to remember it being out in space.

That gun alone made the game, but it was pretty good anyway. I thought it was FEAR, but after just playing the first one I don't think it is. I certainly can't remember any of the first ten minutes.

Any ideas what it might've been?

prey was one of the very ist fps shooters i played om the xbox 360 and still one of the best as well

Prey was the father of Portal.

I also seem to remember something to do with North Americal Indians too. I know I thought it was a pretty good game when I played it, but looking at screenshots, none of it looks familiar.

Mind you I played it on release and never played it again, so my memories have had 8 years to fade

I would have said fear as the wall sticking stands out for me in that game. Can't remember the wall sticking in prey, but it has been a while : )

Prey 2 has been in the making since 2008. Still no ETA on release.

From some limited background reading it seems Bethesda have pretty much screwed over Human Head.

From reading a bit about how Bethesda operates, I am not sure I want to buy anymore of their games anyway

I remember Prey making me feel ill. All of the flipping to ceilings and such like. It starts in a Native American bar and you being sucked up by the aliens.

Also, you should probably play the original Alien vs Predator games. Playing as the Alien was freaky. Scurrying up walls and over ceilings! Used to get proper disorientated. Reminded me of playing Descent back in the day
