To the south from the lost realm they go
With arrow and sword and axe and helm
For man and beast to meet their foe
The dark and evil to overwhelm
Through valley, mine, wood and field
By horse and boat, up hill down dale
Companions all, old alliances healed
Without reliance on friends would fail
Ever on and on an unlikely companion here
Group splintered, now, but master fear
Gone is light and peace and glade
All taken and replaced by shade
This shade must be cast down, all free at last
Awakened to glory of the past
And so it happens and the tale is ended
The ultimate master's heart transcended
Again, too easy I fear.
