They are both really nice cars, the C4S is an extra 1500 pounds. I just can’t decide I keep changing my mind. I was not too keen on the tiptronic however the GT3 kit is growing on my, the alloys are nicer and the Sport Exhaust System sounds really nice.

But then again the C4S would be much better in the snow.

Both are gray imports but that does not bother me.

Any opinions or advice would be nice, I would like to close the deal on one by monday.

i remember the trouble you had with the 335 in the snow and they're a relatively well balanced car, the weight of the porsche is right at the back....fantastic in dry conditions but not in snow with rwd, i'd go for the c4s personally, can't you fit the aero kit afterwards?

Didn't you get rid of the 335i partly because of running costs ?

he said he struggled to sell it because of petrol prices going up and 3l twin turbos being less desirable, not because he couldnt afford it

That C2S is just sex. Porsche aero kits make me weak at the knees. If I were you, I'd seek out a C4S with an aero kit if you can squeeze it in the budget. Saw a brand new C4S Aero the other day in the blue colour Spie had his turbo in. Beautiful.

If tiem is a factor, the C4S and then throw an aero kit on afterwards :D

As tom said it was hard to sell it due to the petrol prices, I get the VAT back on petrol so it does not bother me that much.

Yep the BMW was really bad in the snow!!! But I still don’t know if that was because of the car or the snow tyres I had on.

I dont know anyone with a C2S everyone seems to the the C4 so I have no idea how good the C2 would be in the snow.

Have you driven both? Quite apart from the poser gearbox in the 2, the transmission would make a big difference to how it drives.

Drive a 2 and a 4
Drive a manual and a tip
Pick favorite option of the two above, and look for one with that GT3 kit and any other must have options.

Personally I wouldn't have either. I can't imagine spending this amount of money (. ;)), but I fail to see how the fact that you've sold your exisiting car is a reason to compromise this much.

Figure out what you want, and beg borrow or steal a car to tide you over until then.

C2s, drives better IMO although hate the tip box.

Sounds sexual with the sports exhausts also.

Got 996 C2s still outside my house as friend left there while on holiday and i just keep driving around in low gear and blating it for the noise, is yummy!

How often does it snow over there? Will be a handful in the snow i guess but i would just walk rather than get the wrong car.

Just accept that some people have more money than you and crawl back under your rock

How do you know he has more money than me ?

You know nothing whatsoever about me.

And if most people accepted that othera had more money and did nothing about it, no one would be rich...

Am I to assume then that you don't earn much and have just "accepted" that you are a loser?

Paras is lucky enough to have some sense and has been making money for a few years, even as a student. Can't knock that at all.

If those 2 specific cars were your only options then I would want to make sure the 2 would be fine in the snow. That would be the biggest factor for me.

I thought that due to the massive weight over the rear axle porsches are good to drive in the snow, well get the traction down easily anyway.

C2S for me please, looks awesome and they say that porsche has come so far nowadays it doesnt need the 4 wheel drive to keep it in check.
