Help me pick some wheels

I think a wheel in this style.....

Would suit the z4 coupe down to the ground. Bit brash and in your face perhaps, but my they look the par. Chunky spokes to the edge of the rim :d
 
I'm getting a set of CSLs for mine in the new year, I think they are the best looking wheels closely followed by the M6 wheels.

Did you get a price on the rims alone from the dealer?

Aye, rims alone were roughly £1800.


could you not upgrade your wheels as an option and have the cost offset against the standard wheels?
i am sure the dealer will help you out as your spending a lot of money?

I asked that but as the CSL wheels aren't an option, I can't order the car with just them, it has to come with the standard wheels as well. I could probably get about £800 for the MV2s sold privately which would recover some of the cost.
 
When I spoke to the my dealer they said they couldn't order them without the VIN from a CSL.

You can pick the wheels up for around 1200 from Simpson Motorsport.

Yea, I love dish but I have no idea of which wheels have suitable dish. Where's penski when ye need him.



Gotta get rid of the MV2's, a nice wheel ruined by the fact every other E36 now has fake ones on it

are you definate the dealer can order them for your Z4 ?

if you like the CSL style wheels that much, id order some aftermarket ones. As somebody mentioned, theres loads of people selling replicas. Just use a good seller who can vouch for their quality. Just because they a copy a BMW style doesnt mean they have to be cheaply made. There are plenty of them out there, but they arent all cheap rusting tack :)
 
Do not buy replica wheels. They are heavy, they are not as well built, they NEVER look right. Replica wheels suck so bad I refused to touch them on my 5 year old 530 let alone a brand spanking new Z4 Coupe!

He phoned me last week with the prices and said he could have the wheels fitted to the car and still be ready for 1st March so I assume he has it sorted.

The trouble with replica wheels is that they don't quite look right and they're considerably heavier which can ruin the handling.
 
CSL wheels everytime!! Super cool and super light!! :D

I can only assume anyone who has suggested wheels other than the CSL's are blind ;)
