Need some help Guys & I cannot believe how out of touch I am. :o

My Browser keeps getting Hijacked, Used Chrome/IE/MozFirefox even Commodo Dragon but give it a day or 2 & I get this continual request to download some Java **** & adverts popping up all over the plpace that I cannot get rid of.

I can't for the life of me remember what I used to know so it's starting to **** me off.

Currently running an Admin Account & need to know what I have to do to get rid & make sure it stays rid.
What Browser & Firewall should I use ?
What Clean up tool can I rely on these days ?

Really appreciate some help so Thanks in advance. I've really let myself drop away from all this & feel lost. In the old days I wouldn't even have this issue to start with & if I did I'd have it sorted in no time. :(

Malware Bytes is one of the only programs that comes close to getting rid of most stuff.

The only 100% way to be sure though is to wipe your PC. If you have nothing on there you particularly need then it's probably a good idea to wipe it and set it up with a user account.

Used S&D & Malware Bytes, got it running now, updated scanned with both but still have adverts popping up all over certain websites :/

Once you get to this state it's a good a time as any to start afresh. You never know what might still be lingering in the background.

What Firewall/antivirus are you currently using to prevent you from installing these nasties?

Go through your programs in uninstall programs to see if anything looks out of place.

Double check or to be safe remove all browser addons. And to be sure uninstall java and dont reinstall until you see its fixed.

But it could be as simple as use adblock in your browser as ads are pretty normal these days well i dont see em anyways as i use said addons. what kind of ads do you mean separate windows popups and stuff like that?

I would also double check your network connection settings checking nothing has been changed.

:Edit:

If its is a nasty preventing you from removing it from within Windows you will have to boot from a USB/CD to nuke it from orbit but at this point myself i would clean install. Done it successfully many times but even though they are not my machines i never feel they are clean.

Mainly Ebay adverts, I've signed out of Ebay. Seems like my pop up blocker is not working on some sites. ********* **** thing is *** ******* ************* *&***** ******* ******. + :p

You'll end up wasting far more time by trying to fix it. Wipe your system get a decent AV and firewall running and then image it once all the drivers are installed. Make sure you're using a user account. You'll then have a point in time to go back to and also should be secure for the future.
