Help me replace camera screen

hi all,

i have a sony cybershot t20 camera that has had its screen cracked. i feel im technically inclined so i thought id try replace it myself. iv ordered the new screen and it all seems straight forward to replace the screen. there is however 1 connector i can seem to get loose. im not sure if there is a tab i have to pull up, or if i just have to pull it out with force. the other connectors were simple to pull out, and applying the same force does not release this connection. i have included pics of the tab.

looks like you have to lift the black tab up. see if you can clip it up on both corners at the same time.

disclaimer - i have no idea and cannot be held responsible if it breaks it :P
 
i know what type of connector you lot think it is and have come across those before but i tried lifting it up and it didn't pop up so easy so im worried.
 
Sure the black bit doesn't pull out completely? I'm sure I've seen one like that. Just use a bit more force.
