Help me ruin some steak.

chuck it in the pan, flip it a couple of times. in another pan crack 3 or 4 eggs, fry 'em up.

serve together with french stick (loads of butter)

prepare to get fat.

No, peppercorn is too strong, it'll overpower the flavour. Bearnaise if you must (you'll have to make it from scratch, I can never find a pre-made one in the shops over here) or some garlic butter melting on the top (but go easy with the garlic as otherwise it'll once again overpower the flavour).

And if you're ever after good fillet steak House of Fraser foodhall often get some nice stuff in.

I love posts like these! You get them everytime in a meat thread.

Some go along these lines

"Omg you got meat from a supermarket"

"thats not a steak until, you get it from a buther and pay £30"

very true. i'd prefer 30 quids worth from the supermarket, will last me a lot longer :D

Well, it's clear that it's not the best steak in the world, but he has half a kilo of steak for £2.50 so you can't really complain at that.
I bought some lovely rib-eyes from my butcher and it cost £12 for that amount.

You get what you pay for, but I think you'd struggle to do better for £2.50

I know its not the best. I must admit i get mine from a butcher, but i dont feel the need to put people down who dont.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I didn't really have much ingredients beyond some salt and pepper, so I used AcidHell2's cooking method.

They were yummy :D

I've seen this in both Morrisons and Sainsburys - normally near the mustard - in Morrisons they usually have it on the shelves above the freezers for the chips or vegetables.
