Hey all

I started a thread on a motorbike forum which I was kind of using as a journal of progress with a current motorbike.

I had written a few tutorials and added a lot of pictures to the thread and stupidly not backed any of it up elsewhere.

I discovered that the site has recently shut down and I cant access any of it.

I'd really like to get all of the posts I made including the pictures back if possible.

I've managed to find the thread on the "wayback machine" but I don't really know what I'm doing.
I'm not sure if it has saved the entire thread.

I'm currently going through the first page saving the text and pictures as I go.

Is this the only way I can save the thread or is there a better way?

This is the thread I'm trying to save

https://web.archive.org/web/2016062...5&t=9725&sid=17e9868f9d6f463f7b8d49b1aae06aa2

Any help would be much appreciated.

Tried emailing but not heard any thing back.

I wouldn't have a clue how to run a site.
Not sure what the costs would be either?

Once you have the backups you can load it locally on a USBwebserver, pull the data you want and zip it up. No costs, no need to run it unless you really wanted too.

I've checked the whois as well but nothing on there for personal information.
