Help me select a car battery please

I just popped on to recommend Eurocarparts - I had to buy a new battery for my MX5 last month and found their service to be fantastic and their price unbeatable!

Very good battery indeed, 5 years warranty on that battery too!

Unfortunately not :p

It says 4 years warrenty on the write up on ebay?

@BigRazer93 Seen as you know what your doing, id greatly appreciate it if you can just double check and confirm that this battery is indeed the right one for my CLK220 CDI.

With euro it's 5 years.

Email/private conversation me your reg number and I'll double check it off dealer for you.

You can also check Tayna.co.uk for batteries.

Bosch S4 that I am currently eyeing up is about £25 cheaper than ECP with a discount code.

Pretty sure Varta make them. Assuming that Merc come to you to replace it that's a no brainer to me.

Mercades assistance have told me they will happily come back and fit any battery I buy myself. So I figured buying a Bosh or Exide online for £30-55 cheaper was a good idea? People on this thread have said both are great brands. And they both come with 3-4 years warrently. I will be changing the car in 12-18 months.

P.S My CLK is an 08 and this is the ORIGINAL battery im changing!!! :o

Nothing wrong with a Bosch, they have good warranties. I always get genuine stuff where possible though, for the sake of £30 difference?
