I'm all out of hdd space so I need to buy another one.
I currently have:
74gb raptor - 2 OSs. Win 7 & Win XP
250gb WD - Downloads, setup files, photos from DSLR
300gb WD - Movies & Music
500gb MyBook. I backup my user folder and music on this drive as that's all I care about.
The raptor with 2 OSes on it is not possible as I just run out of space to install apps. So I will be leaving it to the main OS of my choice when I get a new hdd.
I want to start my music collection in FLAC so I figured I use the 300gb WD just for music and pictures. Then backup the whole drive on the MyBook.
The 250gb WD can have another OS on it and use it for downloads and setup files.
I will buy a 1tb WD Black and use that for movies. I have recently had to delete a lot of my movies I burnt from dvd to make space.
Just wondered if anyone had any better ideas. My pc is pretty old so I am still using SATA1. Don't really know if a RAID setup would be much quicker.
