Have been recomended oc can some one help me spec

Never built a pc before decided to give it a go (done loads of upgrading components and was for ever reinstalling windows back in the 98 days and fed up with the rubish in the shops)

I will be useing it for work on Autocad photo editing and illustration (thats about it not much time for games )

I know autocad can be a bit funny on graf cards maybe somthing that just works but not costing mega bucks like the autodesk approved ones

Nice case and well made stuff will be good

Big screen

Op System Vista / XP / XPpro ????

About a £1000 - £1200 (if it makes it below budget great)

Not to fussed on HDD size as i have a NAS drive (netgear toaster) 300gb

I am not being lazy i have done a bit of research but a few specs would be great to help me along

Thanks everso (and the sticky on this page is real usefull)

Slightly different here although it shares many common features with melbourne720's specification. I don't know how much graphics tablets are but I've left around £90 in the budget. You might want to check AutoCADs compatability with the graphics card and I know next to nothing about screens so I just picked one which looked to have good specifications.
