Hi peeps :)

New to the forum so please go easy on me :D

Need a bit of help with getting my watercooling parts. As you can see in my sig i got 4870x2 that want to cool(as it makes hell of a noise) along with my CPU.
Want to OC my CPU a bit more as well, want it to be in 1 loop if possible. Been reading up a bit about watercooling but still not sure if parts i will list will do the job.
-12V Laing DDC1+ Ultra 18W with Laing DDC Top/w Reservoir (XSPC)
-XSPC Delta V3 CPU Waterblock
-XSPC Full Cover Razor HD 4870 X2 - Acetal
-1 ThermoChill PA120.3
-3x Xilence Red Wing 1500RPM 120mm - PWM
-2 meters of 3/8" ID - 5/8" OD Blue/UV Blue Hose (XSPC)
-2X Feser Aqua - Ultra Pure Water - 1000 ml
-2 meters of PrimoChill Anti-Kink Coils 5/8"- Black

All of parts are with 3/8" barbs, is this right ?? Am i missing any part ??
As you can tell i'm not sure if all of these are right/wrong....any help would be extremely appreciated ;)

Nice one for all your quick input and for letting me know to edit my post :o:rolleyes:

-Ok so the raditor is ThermoChill PA120.3 (have read that its the best)
-Ek Full cover 4870X2 Waterblock
-3 x YATE LOON 120mm - D12SL-12 (plus closed corner fan screws) - heard these are good..thank you
-2 x Feser Coolant in your choice of colour - does it come in clear as dont really want it to dye my parts
-1 x Laing DDC2 12V 18w Pump With XSPC Top - will i need Swiftech MCRES-Micro with this??
-10 hoseclips - will it be enough

Those seem to be for certain, now not sure about cpu block, heard XSPC Delta V3 CPU Waterblock is really good. Also on hose...would like UV so dont have to use dye, also what size barbs will i need and any other parts do i need ??

Thanks for all your help and patience :)

You could also fit 3/8" tubing on 1/2" barbs (it's what I do) and then you don't need clips. It looks so much cleaner. You do need to heat the end of the tubing in boiling water and use a little lubricant (saliva works well) to help the tube onto the barb, but once on, it's not coming off:D
Didnt know about that trick  Might as well look at doing that ;)

Thanks for your help peeps, its greatly appreciated;)

This is my case

As you can see there is not much space but if move hard drive bay up can fit in 360mm radiator at the bottom. That leaves me with pump and res....if get these seperate (as advised above) am thinking of getting res that fits into hard drive slot(will i need some sort of mounts for that- if yes what kind). That leaves me with pump....where do i put that ???

I take it t-line is a good idea when want to drain the system, where should it go(in between what parts). Also what order should the loop flow ??

Is there no way you could either mount the pump in one of the drive bays as the whole front it taken up by them or mount it to the mobo tray with a l bracket like this? i know its a way bigger case but you may have room just beside the mobo.
I guess i could fit it in one of the bays, or even if there is space in bottom left hand corner of the case next to radiator.....will have to see when order parts. Thinking of this pump http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-047-AC&groupid=701&catid=193&subcat=1042&name=Laing%20DDC%201+%20Ultra%2018W%2012V%20DC%20Pump
Good enough for the job ??

Ok here is the pic http://s552.photobucket.com/albums/jj339/oggiet/?action=view&current=p60f002.jpg

As you can see i got radiator , pump and res all prity close to each other...would this me a problem.
Aslo thermal 120.3 is 430mm long and pump is 80mm which gives 510mm. Prob is my bottom is only 460mm long, is there any radiator that is shorter that would be good enough...or should i just place the pump in drive bay. Also which would connect into what (flow wise) ??

I get you mate, thought that might be the case. Ok so i guess will go for one of these http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-009-XS&groupid=701&catid=193&subcat=1040&name=XSPC%20Single%20Bay%20Reservoir%20-%20Black, mount that in hard drive bay and then underneath have pump mounted on top of hard drive cage. That way it will all be hidden and neat.
One question regarding that res, does it slide out the front of case,,,,how would i fill it up.

Sorry for all these questions, just want to get everything worked out in my head so can order :)
