Hi, as you can see by my post count, I've only recently registered (thanks to new job- work email
).
I'm building a new rig, which includes of the following:
EVGA 680i mobo
intel e6600
BFG 8800gtx
Tagan dual engine 600W
150gb raptor + 2x 320gb seagate barracuda (7200.10)
Zalman cnps 9700 nt
Now, I have managed to acquire OCZ 2GB PC2-7200 platinum xtc for approx £200.
However, I would like to know how well suited this memory is to the rest of the components in my specs. Is there any better memory you would reccomend (I can always resell this), ie more suitable, or that would require less tweaking?
Mind you, I am a bit newb at pc building, so overclocking is not my priority, rather I care more that the stuff works, with not too much effort.
If this memory is good, I'll stick with it, but if there's anything easier to work with for around £200 (I don't mind paying a bit more if necessary), I'm interested.
Thanks
