ok I built my pc about 6 months ago and overclocked it following instructions from some of u guys (oced the cpu and the ram). anyway everything has been fine. Now i just bought a buffalo wireless router as my flatmates have just got cable. I also bought this buffalo card below..
http://www.buffalo-technology.com/p...-speed/wireless-g-125-high-speed-pci-adapter/
now ive been getting problems. I installed the card but when I connected to the net, the PC just frooze. I had to restart. Now it freezes whenever I get into windows, I cant do anything I have to restart. It doesnt matter what im doing, it will always freeze not long after ive just turned my pc on.
I even tried reformatting. I put my xp cd in, restarted and went to format. The first time it got to 26% before freezing, second time about 13%.

I removed the card and uninstalled it but it still freezes.
I dont get why suddenly???? I presumed it was obviously something to do with the buffalo card. I phoned up buffalo support, spoke to a guy who couldnt speak english and he told me my PC may have had a conflict. I told him I had removed the card already and this problem only just started when I installed the card. He said my pc probably had a virus......
This is my bios (which i have tried resetting to factory defaults but made no difference either).
Win XP Pro sp2
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel
Intel Core 2 Duo E2180 "LGA775 Conroe"
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4
Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB S300 16mb
Tuniq Tower
Please help!! Any ideas cause I cant use it at the moment?? surely it cant be a coincidence that this only started happening when i tried to install this buffalo card? But I really dont get why that would cause this problem...
thanks
