Help- Need a driver!

The missus has a JVC gr-dx28ek and doesn't have a driver disc for it. We have searched the interweb and just can't seem to find one.

Two questions:

1. Does anyone have a link to a win XP driver for it?
2. If we go out and get a firewire cable for it, will we need a driver for it again?

There are no drivers on the JVC website :/
this guy had the same problem and emailled JVC to get them on a disc. (he didnt say they charged him for them, but the others on there seem to think they do).

You don't need a driver, just buy a firewire cable and plug it in

edit/ is that a minidv camera? If it is you won't need a driver as said
