hi have just bought a sn25p to stick my opteron and old bits in, now i would like to build a cheap c2d rig cheaper the better . I wan to OC the hell out of it by the way

Yeah, also if your planning on overclocking, then I'd consider a aftermarket cpu cooler such as a ACF7 Pro, a very good budget cooler, you might also want to get the E2160 as it has a higher multiplier making it easier to overclock and only a few pounds more.

650i Ultra does yeah :) Your layed out spec looks good too, although for the extra £3 I would just pick up the OCZ ram on this week only.

3Ghz ish I'd imagine, but may need an aftermarket cooler, even something cheap like a Freezer 7 Pro.
