Hi, My knowledge of computers is ok but not great. I need a new one that can play all the latest games faultlessly and will last me a couple of years like that.

My funds are not great so i thought to build one to save money and for fun also.

Basically i need a shopping list. Can anyone list all the components that i need to make it and give an example of each that wont break the bank but also is top notch in quality.

Not sure how much i want to spend but not more than 1,500. pref about 1,000.

I know i cant get the most expensive stuff so im looking for components that will fit into my budget that are of great quality.

oh yeah i need to know cooling stuff as well please.

If anyone can help me on this issue i will be sooooo greatful. Even if it is just a few ideas.

    Thanks. Phil.

Hi, welcome to the forums. :)
£1000-£1500 is plenty for a gaming machine. You should be able to get top of the line parts.

What do you need, just the tower?
Have you got a monitor, windows, mouse, keyboard etc?

You could get this if you just need the tower, it will support crossfire so you can buy X1900XT master card and use them together. This system has top quliaty parts and very good air cooling.

I'd point out that its unrealistic to expect any machine to remain flawless at game playing for two years though.

It will slowly get poorer as time passes - in a couple of years it will be average at best.
