If a directional tyre is fitted the wrong way round, the tyre won't be dangerous, but you won't gain any of the benefits of it's design.
Incorrect fitting of both asymmetric and directional tyres is a reason for MOT failure.
Guys, again, I did not ask for budget tyres. I asked for budget mediums. Again, in my mind something like mentioned before. Toyo, Kumho, Avon....

I thought this was a reasonable request so I did just that... Went to a local tyre place and they guy said he could do it for £10... He takes the tyre off and flips it 180 degrees then shouts me over.
He pointed out that it makes no difference if it's flipped and the arrow points the same way (the wrong way)
I then suddenly think he's put 2x sets of left tyres on the car! This would make sense why they literately have no grip.
Anyone give a TL;dr for that epic post? OP bought crap tyres then is surprised that they're crap?
Yes, but I think there were some aliens, immigrants and dole dodgers and I suspect ISIS too. Every OCUK needs this, it's a right of passage these days!
