hi need some help with parts

going to go i7 6800k

so need a x99 board going to overclock for the first time not much though just going to overclock to 4ghz

only going to get one card "gtx 1080" when they hit the shelves

so was think of one of them AIO water cpu coolers to cool cpu

and want 32gb ram not fussy on make as long as decent price

after a decent psu not sure what wattage though prefer a modular one

and a case to fit it all in,heard the gtx 1080's are quite long

ive got mouse keyboard,monitor ,hdd,ssd

thanks in advance!

Hi

Is this just a gaming pc ? Any video editing/rendering or game streaming ?

Any plans to SLI in the future ?

Also what is your monitor ?

hi yes

not going sli but will be getting a 4k monitor in a few months

mainly for gaming and a bit of video editing/music production

the monitor i have now is an dell ultrasharp 29inch wide screen 2500 x 1080p

and going VR as well

at the moment i have a athlon x6 1055t

asus rog crosshair1v

4gb ram

gtx 670

so its a bit off an old system

just wonder how fast this new build will be

You are going to struggle getting an i7 6800K and GTX 1080 unless you up the budget.

This Skylake build is just over £1200 with the cheapest GTX 1080 and 240mm AIO. As you plan on going 4K then you also have an SLI ready board/psu.

That makes a difference then :)

If you are just gaming then you don't need 32GB Ram. A 4 x 4GB would do fine. The board has 8 Ram slots.

Also the i7 5820K is cheaper, but if you want to stick with the i7 6800K then do so. I went with the oem version as it is currently £20 cheaper than the retail version. The only difference is the warranty length AFAIK (oem is 1 yr and retail is 3yr)

The Phanteks Luxe will fit everything in it just fine. Check out other cases if you want something different though.
