Help needed getting a helmet cam to work

Greetings peeps.

Some time ago I bough this helmet cam linky (scroll down to camera 5 and that's the one that I have) and I have been unable to get it to work with my camcorder

I have tried it with my tv and all I have to do is set the channel to av and bob's your uncle

However with my camcorder, when I plug it into the av in/out socket I get nothing

I have a canon mv450i which has a dual av in/out socket which can be used for headphones as well, but despite me setting this socket to be av in/out rather than phones I still get no picture.
I'm at an absolute loss with this one folks. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I take it that the lack of resonse to my problem is because nobody has the faintest on how to help me :confused:

Does the camcorder work with other video sources ??. I know some camcorders had the AV inputs disabled because of some daft USA copyright rubbish .

I have one of them and a MV500i. Are you using the s-video in socket? Needs to be on VCR (playback mode) and the picture wont apear on the camcorder until you press rec pause on the remote. (ie its recording but paused). I can't remember weather the mic goes into the line in or the mic socket, try both as I used the wrong one for ages and was ready to order a replacement mic before I realised how dense I was being!
