I know i used to be able to do this within windows before but cannot seem to do it as the option doesnt come up when i right click.

Alll help greatly appreciated.

Right click the big bar under Disk 2 > Delete Partition (ONLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY DATA ON IT) > Then Right click unallocated space (black) and create new partition (primary partition, of any size) > done. Keep doing this until all unallocated space is used up.

hi there , i dont have any option to delete partition when i right click,

its coloured as simple volume so it doesnt appear to let me. (H)

What options do you get when you right click on the H: volume? There should be an option to Delete Volume which is the same as the Delete Partition option that smids is talking about.

The drive has got 1 big partition, if you want to split it then you'll have delete the current and then create the partitions again.
