Hi all,
I posted my screenshot of my new install of Ubuntu in the Linux gallery and then 5 minutes later i scuff it up when i try the ATi drivers. I installed the drivers and rebooted but Ubuntu just hangs.
I wanted to boot into a live cd and mount the ubuntu install so that i can fix the problem. When i booted into the ubuntu live cd it wouldn't let me mount the drive and when i use damn small linux it doesn't even recognise the drive. Anybody have any ideas of a live cd that'll easily mount the drive?

EDIT: To save some hassle, if i were to re-install Ubuntu over the top, would all the downloaded updates work or will i have to re-download them?
