Help Needed Please

Cleaned up my mates PC a couple of times now but they still get some errors stating that:

‘Host process for windows services stopped working and was closed, a problem caused the application to stop working correctly’

This has happened before and i did a clean up and all ok but it reappears again!!

Is it user error or a faulty bit of hardware or internet issues?

That sounds like a very generic error message to me. Is there any set of actions that causes it to occur? A certain program etc?

I guess a generic problem needs a generic solution so I would run a sfc /scannow and see what you get.
