Help needed please

ok so i got a new sound card ...a XONAR DS PCI Sound Card ....but now its been installed im having some problems running things in general on my pc ,,,ive looked in the task manager and i can see " HsMgr.exe *32 " and " HsMgr64.exe"....now when these two processes are running i cant even call up firefox or anything at all...can someone please tell me how to fix this issue thank you

did you disable onboard sound in the bios?

something to do with messenger?

yeash ive done that in the BIOS

worth trying installing the UNI Xonar drivers ?

OK just to say that i have taken it upon myself to install those UNI Xonar drivers and all seems as it should

Have a read through the links, there may be something in them to shaed a bit of light on your problem. Have no idea myself. You might have more luck in Sound City.
