Help needed regarding Xbox 360 failures:

haha sauna? No no, not at all! My room isn't that bad really! My PC has never overheated, any of the other consoles I have used which I listed about have never failed either!

I know he doesn't abuse them or anything to that effect, purely down to bad luck & crappy build quality on Microsofts part.

Just to comment on the 2-3 weeks turnaround - I'm not sure if I've jsut been really lucky, or they are faster now, but I shipped mine off last Friday by UPS and they've already repaired and it's on its way back - so should be a little over a week turnaround [hopefully!].

It was a 10 day turnaround for my replacement 360 a couple of months ago.

I know you're frustrated mate, but you don't have a lot of choice. They're offering a replacement, which is as good as you're going to get - customer service wise. If that's not good enough, what are you hoping for exactly? Bloody frustrating though, isn't it.

The 360 is a really crappy piece of hardware, but you've been unlucky to have that many units fail. To be a 360 owner you either have to live with the possibility of a failure (and the period you're without a unit while it gets repaired/replaced) or consider giving up on it altogether and selling all your stuff.

MS build quality on the 360 is a joke. I don't know how they're getting away with it for so long. Yea you get 3 years warranty for 3rrod. But then what? Its more than likely going to go **** up soon after. Me and many other of my mates who have this console have had rrod at some point. It's safe to say I wont be buying any MS console again for a long time.
