I've been having a number of problems and decided to stick them all in GH as I've had no help so far in other subforums.
I've been having numerous problems, most recently some BSODs "kernel data inpage error", and this litle beauty. Begins with a lockup of the system, cursor will move but nothing else, followed by windows explorer crashing, restarting, crashing until it blue screens.

Checkdisk has been throwing up errors too on startup

Thinking this is down to a problem on the SSD, but it's not consistent in results, see:
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18266899
Also had problems with my GTX480 driver crashing in games, managed to fix this one by installing very old driver sets so assumed it was a driver clash?:
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18254272
I also have a Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer soundcard, which recently decides to work for a short while then (possible driver crash) just output a buzzing noise from the speakers.
Not sure if any or all three of these problems are related, but some help is appreciated as it's really getting out of hand now. Can't get it to boot into windows at the moment, giving me the message "reboot and select proper boot device" so assuming faulty hard drive?
Specs are:
Asus M4A79XTD EVO
AMD Phenom II X3 720 BE (unlocked to 4 cores)
4GB Corsair XMS3
Asus GTX480
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer
100GB Vertex 2
Other drives
