Hi All

Trying to fix a reboot problem on my ASUS P5B Deluxe...

The board seems to run fine and windows loads ok (apart from the reboot parts that have to be done manually).
The BIOS is using default settings ATM and I haven’t changed anything.

See thread here..

So my question is whitch one do I download from the ASUS website?
See two options bellow.

The DOS version is for flashing with a floppy.

Tho they're both the exact same size so they be the exact same file.

Ok sorted it now. Used the DOS version and then used the ASUS Flash utility (ASUS Update)..

Now the BIOS is upto the latest version and I've changed some of the FSB settings, I dont get the reboot problem now!

Just for the record though, if I set the BIOS to AUTO everything and I still get the reboot issue.
It's like there isnt enough juce to kick the MB back into life on a windows restart.

So seems that the windows restart is a BIOS thing...

Xray

PS. Have a help thread going as well and will update that with this info as well.
