Help needed- wireless PCI card not working.

Just purchased a Edimax ew-7728in pci wireless card for my desktop, installed it, and I can't seem to find any networks on Windows 7 64bit. When I ask Windows to troubleshoot this, it says there is a problem with the drivers. It gave me this message when:

I only had on the drivers that installed the first time I switched the PC on with the card in.
When I installed the drivers with the disc.
When I installed the updated drivers on the Edimax website.
When I installed the drivers from the manufacturer of the card, Ralink, recommended by someone on Amazon.

Each time I get the same message of driver issues. Ideas anyone?

Okay, still getting no where, followed the indepth manual, in which it says to connect to a network, open the utility software included in the drivers, and then to scan for networks to connect to. But the scan button is greyed out, and nothing appears. It's almost like the damn thing can't see any networks?

Fixed it. The culprit turned out to be Kaspersky, an obscure box in the control panel had to be unticked, and that was it!
