So at the end of last year I decided to build my first PC and had lots of help from forum members - you can search my epic first build post. I learnt loads from that and have changed the original psu and added a graphics card. With my hard drive dying on me recently, I started considering an SSD, and from my other post on here I'm also considering the Corsair H50 as I imagine my new graphics card will generate more heat.
I use my pc for surfing the web, office appliactions using voice recognition which still has some lag on it, and have recenlty got into gaming - hence the 5850. Its great having a fast pc but wondered what I should do next. I'm starting to realise my motherboard may be a limiting factor, as when I fitted the graphics card there was very liitle room and I certainly wouldnt be able to fit another. So where would I notice most difference - extra RAM, a new SSD (which I think would help with the lag on voice recognition), HDs in RAID, or just leave everything alone for a while??
I don't have loads of money to throw around but wondered what people thought?? My build is:
Phenom II X4 955
Gigabyte UD3H
4GB Patriot Sector 5 PC3-12800
Sapphire HD 5850
Asus Xonar DX
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB
Corsair 650W ATX
Cheers
