Hi, i noticed my system slowed right down and it was just hanging when loading programs/internet explorer/firefox/WoW etc etc.

After the programs loaded up it worked ok for a bit then would just take forever to do something, even a simple task like going from facebook home page to a profile page for expample.

It seems worse when its first turned on, and then when things are cached it works for a bit, but if there's some change it either goes really slow or stops working.

At first i thought it was my HDD so i put another one in and did a fresh install of windows thinking it might be the HDD on its way out. But the new HDD is exactly the same.

I think it might be the RAM as the problem seems to be when something is loading, i play world of warcraft which is quite taxing on RAM from what i am told and this is where it suffers most because of constant change.

I have no idea where to start looking for problems so any suggestions would be great. my system specs are listed below;

Intel Core i3 540 3.06GHz (Clarkdale) (Socket LGA1156)
Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H Intel H55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 Motherboard
Corsair 650watt PSU
Nvidia 260gtx
Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
Western Digital RE2 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 CPU Cooler
Windows 7 32bit OS

Thanks for looking, hope you can help me :)

Ran Memtest today and it found no errors, checked system temps and all seem normal. Kind of stuck now lol, ill do a disk check again but i know it's not that.

Any suggestions or anyone having similar issues?
