Hi folks, I'm just trying out Mint Felicia as a total Linux newbie and would like to setup a PPTP VPN to my Uni network, but can't see how to do this. Can anyone help ?

How does that work for you? It's a bit of a hack but it seems valid. Any questions?

Ah, thanks - I couldn't set up a VPN before as that option was grayed out in Network Manager, but running the following line sorted it for me.
$ sudo apt-get install pptp-linux network-manager-pptp
I still can't connect to the network, but it's now a matter of the actual settings I think - the Uni don't publish any settings for connecting with Linux , but I'll have another fiddle before I contact computer services.
