Help needed...

Hi everyone i have a problem and i really dont know what to do now,

My Graphics in games are all over the place for instance Battlefield 2 when im in a game i will normally get 50 ~ 60 FPS in some caces i get 70 ~ 90 but thats not the problem. The problem is at what seems to be random intervels my FPS drops almost instantly to 10 and below but here is the weird part say im facing north when the FPS drops if i spin around and face another direction my FPS goes straight back up to 50+?

Ive tried OC with coolbits including turning "fast writes off", ive tried cleaning the PC out of dust, ive tried turning all my fans to max to get rid of heat? but it wont go away!

Asus AV8N Delux M/B
Asus GeForce 256Mb 6800 GT
AMD 64 3500+
2 Gig RAM

Any ideas?

Are the parts where its slowing down particularly intensive? Does it usually do it at the same places or during the same occurrences? Is there any pattern to it?

Yeah when it does go down from 50+ it stays a 10 - if i dont move at all on screen it will hold the 10 FPS but if i spin round or bring up the scope (sometimes) it will go back up.

There is no pattern it just seems to happen at random times.
