hi all i was wonderin how i would do this, on websites were you can buy stuff, it adds all the items up and tells the total price, how would i do this

Have you got a host? Ask them if they provide any. Hopefully it'll be a one click install job and you'll be set!

I just checked my host (wiserhosting.co.uk) and they offer

Zen Cart, OS Commerce and CubeCart

If you've only got a few item, say 10-20 you could use Mal's Ecommerce ..

you design your html, add a button and off you go ... it does all the adding up and secure payment thing.

Its quite fiddly but from the ones that Ive looked at it seems to be one of the better ones. Are you ok with css? You need to alter the style sheet quite a bit to get it to look how you want it to.

ive only ever built sites usin frontpage or dreamweaver but would like to learn how to build professional looking sites
