I notice from your sig that you'r overclocking - are you sure that your clock is stable (i.e. have you run prime95 / orthos)

if yes, try

Tried running it as admin (right-click) > Run as Administraitor? Vista pops up all sorts of errors related to UAC.

its been fine for months on this overclock, its stable, i can play games perfect

ja - but is it prime stable is what i was asking. an unstable overclock may still boot the OS and you may not see any obvious issues. It can still corrupt the OS though.

tried runnin that code but it didnt fix it anymore suggestions

Well this http://www.vistaclues.com/a-referral-was-returned-from-the-server-error/ explains why it's coming up with the message but why a part of Vista would be unsigned - no ideas.

im stumped
