Hi Guys,

Am looking for a graphics card or two to run my four monitors running at 1920 x resolution.

anyone have any suggestions, budget of up to £400 if possible. Not being used for gaming but basic use and some photo editing.

Appreciate your help here, haven't looked into cards for a while now so being stupid:

Has 2 x DVI the 5870 how do i run these with 4 monitors?

Cheers.

The regular 5870 only supports 3 AFAIK.

It has 4 outputs: 2x DVI, 1x HDMI, 1x Displayport.

I think you can use 2x DVI + 1x DP or 1x DVI + 1x HDMI + 1x DP

Thought eyefinity supported upto 6? Just not seen any with 6 ports

Edit: checked it out and the support is as follows

The only catch to this specific port layout is that the card still only has enough TMDS transmitters for two ports. So you can use 2x DVI or 1x DVI + HDMI, but not 2x DVI + HDMI. For 3 DVI-derived ports, you will need an active DisplayPort-to-DVI adapter

So you're gonna need 2 cards then, obv not 2 5870s, lol
