Hi im looking to upgrade my graphic card and im not very clued up on PC stuff :), currently im using a radeon 5770 1gb. Ive have been looking at Asus GeForce GTX 560 and the Asus GeForce GTX 560Ti but my worry is that i only have a 450W Quiet 80 PLUS Dual Rail PSU, will i need to upgrade that aswell? Any advice would be great thanks in advance

YOUR BASKET
1 x **B Grade** EVGA GeForce GTX 460 Superclocked 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express G (GX-160-EA) £89.99
1 x Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 600W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £54.98
Total : £156.37 (includes shipping : £9.50).

You didnt state a budget just cheap as poss lol That GPU is B grade so i would call to check what is in the box first. The 460s here are massively overclocked and run at nigh on 6870 performance. Seeing as you get that for less than a 6850 thats a bit of a bargain.

That PSU has more than enough juice to run mid-high end GPUs....it's modular too! :) It's even capable of running the 460 in SLI if that's a possibility for you

THat link gives you an idea of GPU performance. I wouldn't recommend a 450 certainly not the 550 either. 6850/460/6870/6950/7850 is the bang for buck order. What resolution is the screen you are using as well?

The resolution will be 1920x1080.

I think I will go with the PSU you have listed and the GTX 560ti, and another quick question say I wanted to SLI the 560ti would 600w do it?

Thanks for all the reply guys and all the help.

my system uses about 230w idle and jumps to 330-350w under full gpu load (560ti, phenom 720be), acording to the power meater tinghy, so 600w should be fine as long as your psu has 4xpci-ei sli should be no problem.
